High Ground

Music Duo

The musical duo High Ground is made up of Betty May and Crispin Pedler.

In October 2009, Betty joined the Manatee Band for their performance at The Farmers Market Thanksgiving Celebration. Following that, “Betty May & Manatee” entertained at many events including New Year’s Eve 2009 at The Toronto Humber Yacht Club; The International Women’s Day Brunch at CUPE4400, Toronto; Singles Event at The Eton House Pub, Toronto; the Women Empowering Women Event in support of The December 6th Fund and a fundraising Peña in Toronto on April 10th, 2010 in support of the Guatemala Stove Project.

Crispin Pedler is an accomplished lead guitarist, vocalist and writer, who also plays mandolin and keyboard. He is particularly talented at recording electronic music, creating his own unique patterns and recording methods. He also writes music software and is the creator of  the most popular free music software database on the Internet www.freemusicsoftware.org.
